This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Identify and assess key targets and opportunities to facilitate necessary technology adoptions.

• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to create training programs for both new and existing adoptions.

• Formulate strategies to retain business and grow existing accounts.

• Work alongside product development, product marketing, and market development teams to foster innovation and shape future digital initiatives.

• Establish partnerships with both 2-year and 4-year educational institutions.

• Propel the growth of digital courseware at the course, department, and institutional levels by leveraging in-depth knowledge of Wiley’s digital solutions.

• Engage with instructors to advocate for digital solutions and articulate their value propositions.

• Stimulate renewable revenue and enhance usage growth.

• Prepare and conduct strategic sales presentations both in-person and virtually.

• Develop and oversee a sales pipeline utilizing SFDC.

• Provide reporting, account insights, and updates on adoption opportunities within SFDC.

• Identify “Land & Expand” accounts and track key performance indicators.

• Facilitate in-person training sessions and assist customers in utilizing Wiley’s digital offerings.

• Analyze territory data and create business and territory plans.

• Assist with LMS/LTI implementations in collaboration with Customer Success Managers.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.

• Sales experience, particularly in higher education, is strongly preferred, although a strong drive, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to advance in the education sector can compensate for a lack of direct experience.

• Possess a sales-oriented mindset, along with skills in organization, planning, presentation, and leadership.

• A strong motivation to sell and implement digital solutions.

• Self-starter with excellent listening abilities and a knack for optimizing time to achieve a high return on investment.

• Capability to navigate complex sales processes involving multiple decision-makers.

• Maintain energy and motivation in the face of challenges or setbacks.

• Ability to set expectations, coach, and collaborate effectively with both external and internal customers.

• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
