This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Identify and assess key targets and opportunities to promote the adoption of required technologies.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to create training plans for both new and ongoing adoptions.
• Formulate strategies to retain business and grow existing accounts.
• Work alongside product development, product marketing, and market development teams to encourage innovation and shape future digital initiatives.
• Establish partnerships with both 2- and 4-year educational institutions.
• Promote the growth of digital courseware at the course, department, and institutional levels through comprehensive knowledge of Wiley’s digital solutions.
• Engage with instructors to encourage the adoption of digital solutions and articulate their value proposition.
• Foster renewable revenue and increase usage growth.
• Prepare and present strategic sales pitches both in-person and remotely.
• Create and oversee a sales pipeline utilizing SFDC.
• Identify, evaluate opportunities, and manage transactions within the sales pipeline.
• Provide reports, account insights, and adoption intelligence, while updating opportunities in SFDC.
• Identify “Land & Expand” accounts for Wiley’s digital offerings.
• Track key performance indicators, including pilots, events, and market development activities.
• Conduct in-person training sessions and support customers using Wiley’s digital solutions.
• Analyze territory data and formulate territory and business plans.
• Assist with LMS / LTI implementations in collaboration with Customer Success Managers to meet instructor goals.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Sales experience with a background in higher education is highly preferred, but not mandatory if you possess a strong drive, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to advance your career in education.
• Strong sales mindset along with organizational, planning, presentation, and leadership skills.
• A robust drive to sell and implement digital solutions that create significant results for faculty and students.
• A self-starter capable of maximizing time and achieving a high return on investment through effective listening skills.
• Ability to navigate intricate sales processes involving multiple decision-makers.
• Capacity to remain energetic and motivated in the face of challenges or setbacks.
• Skill in establishing expectations, coaching, and collaborating with both external and internal customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
• Experience or familiarity with various LMS / LTI implementations is beneficial.
