This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Serve as the Data Subject Matter Expert for stakeholders throughout the complete data supply chain.
• Gather, cleanse, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Convert analytical results into clear, business-friendly insights to aid in decision-making.
• Elicit, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements through interviews, workshops, process analysis, and user story development.
• Perform stakeholder analysis to comprehend needs, roles, dependencies, and expectations.
• Assist in prioritization by evaluating business value, impacts, complexity, and risk.
• Ensure requirements traceability from intake through development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with data engineering analysts, architects, and engineers to ensure solutions align with business context and use cases.
• Establish testing acceptance criteria, assist with user validation, and provide structured feedback for ongoing improvement.
• Monitor and improve data quality through profiling, validation, remediation, and alignment with organizational priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business analysis, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, product analytics, or similar roles.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional settings and support the delivery of data products that cater to multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in requirements elicitation, process mapping, and converting business needs into technical specifications.
• Experienced in crafting user stories, acceptance criteria, and high-quality product and data documentation.
• Strong understanding of data stewardship principles, including data quality, lineage, metadata management, and responsible data use.
• Comfortable with connecting data across various client systems and enriching datasets.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Capable of navigating ambiguity and leading teams toward clarity and actionable results.
• Strong critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
• Proficient analytical toolkit utilizing SQL, Python, and data querying tools.
• Working knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS.
• Experience in digital and D2C environments, including clickstream, customer engagement, and media analytics data, such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
