Business Analyst / Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders, product leadership, and development teams to grasp business needs and articulate product requirements.

• Take ownership of the product backlog, ensuring that requirements are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives.

• Lead and facilitate sessions for backlog refinement and assist with effective sprint planning.

• Create clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements that are actionable for development teams.

• Prioritize requirements based on business value, stakeholder needs, dependencies, and delivery priorities.

• Convert business needs into functional and technical requirements while ensuring alignment between business and engineering teams.

• Assist in product decision-making by identifying gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities.

• Facilitate communication and alignment among stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

• Maintain product and requirements documentation utilizing tools such as Azure DevOps, Confluence/SharePoint, Miro, etc.

• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and the continuous improvement of the product development process.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a comparable role.

• Strong understanding of SCRUM methodology with practical experience in Agile environments.

• Advanced English proficiency, demonstrating strong communication skills in a professional setting.

• Advanced proficiency in Ukrainian, showcasing strong communication abilities in a professional context.

• Demonstrated experience in collaborating with stakeholders, development teams, and product leadership.

• Experience in managing and prioritizing product backlogs according to business value and priorities.

• Familiarity with backlog refinement, defining acceptance criteria, and drafting clear, actionable user stories.

• Capability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel, Confluence or SharePoint, and Miro.
