This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Plan and execute comprehensive cutover strategies, including detailed mock rehearsals and production cutover management plans.
• Drive the progress of cutover activities by ensuring task completion and achieving milestones in line with the overall timeline.
• Facilitate daily meetings with cross-functional team leads.
• Assess team member workloads, task schedules, and potential resource limitations to ensure optimal resource allocation during the cutover.
• Engage in proactive risk management by identifying, evaluating, mitigating, and monitoring potential risks, providing real-time alerts for critical issues.
• Track and monitor cutover metrics, including issue resolution and task timing.
• Set clear expectations and foster accountability among team members.
• Address conflicts, encourage collaboration, and inspire teams towards shared objectives.
• Oversee multiple cutover activities, tasks, and resources through effective organization, prioritization, and time management to achieve program goals.
• Additional duties include documentation and reporting, communication with internal stakeholders, and identifying improvement areas to enhance the quality and efficiency of cutover activities.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%-50% to other major RTX US locations (Farmington, Richardson, Cedar Rapids, and Charlotte).
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience, or 12 years of relevant experience in the absence of a degree.
• Proficiency in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, Planview, Jira, or comparable tools.
• Experience with CORE or equivalent (e.g., Six Sigma or Change Management) along with project management experience.
• Familiarity with various project methodologies, including waterfall and agile Scrum methodologies.
