• Collaborate with editors and reporters to generate engaging content.

• Review and refine copy, headlines, images, captions, graphics, and videos for precision, clarity, and impact.

• Transform source materials into original narratives through additional reporting, expert commentary, and contextual information.

• Source and prepare pertinent images and videos, ensuring rights and credits are verified.

• Utilize audience analytics to guide editorial choices and enhance content reach, engagement, and performance.

• Offer constructive feedback and guidance to reporters to elevate standards.

• Work in tandem with social media, SEO, and multimedia teams to optimize content.

• Maintain accuracy under pressure while meeting stringent publishing deadlines.

• Carry out other reasonable responsibilities essential to fulfilling business requirements.

• Extensive relevant experience in digital editing and reporting positions.

• Strong news judgment across diverse topics.

• Proven ability to edit swiftly in a dynamic environment.

• Exceptional writing, rewriting, and copy-editing capabilities.

• Demonstrated knowledge of content management systems, SEO, audience analytics, and editing software.

• Familiarity with common IT tools, including the Microsoft Office suite.

• Experience with WordPress is advantageous.
