Digital Communications Advisor – Virtual Volunteer

📋 Description

• Oversee and refresh the website by publishing trustworthy, accessible, and engaging content that aligns with REPSFECO’s priorities, activities, and outcomes.

• Suggest and organize new sections to enhance the volunteer platform and facilitate navigation.

• Gather, verify, and arrange information from volunteers and partner teams to support a cohesive editorial calendar.

• Compose impact stories, articles, and testimonials.

• Manage social media by scheduling posts and tailoring messages for various platforms.

• Optimize web content in line with best practices for readability, SEO, and keyword utilization.

• Track content performance using metrics and provide recommendations to boost visibility and engagement.

• Share knowledge by providing tools, templates, and practical methods to the partner team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Only open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.

• A university degree in communications, journalism, digital marketing, media, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of two years of experience in communications, web writing, digital content management, or a related field.

• Exceptional writing, summarizing, and message-adaptation abilities for diverse audiences.

• Practical experience in website administration and social media management.

• Familiarity with fundamental SEO principles, editorial calendars, and digital performance tracking.

• Self-driven, organized, creative, and capable of effective remote collaboration in an intercultural setting.

• Provide two professional references and one personal reference if selected for the shortlist.

• Complete a language assessment test during the initial phone interview.

• Agree to adhere to the PSEA policy and the code of conduct.
