This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate account performance and generate monthly reports on essential KPIs, accompanied by recommendations that address sell-through, forecasting, financial impacts, competitive analysis, promotional performance, and market trends.
• Work collaboratively with leadership to formulate, convey, and execute the U.S. strategic vision, objectives, and plans that align with EBITDA and sales targets.
• Provide strategic, analytical e-commerce insights from various data sources and identify opportunities for 18-month and 3- to 5-year e-commerce initiatives.
• Oversee e-commerce business performance scorecards and deliver actionable insights along with ad hoc analyses for business stakeholders.
• Set e-commerce KPIs for monthly reporting and keep track of competitive activities.
• Examine vendor portal and third-party technology data for effective planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial implications, and trend analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams regarding WD-40 item configurations, changes, UPC revisions, and product specifications.
• Offer data-driven insights and recommendations to both Amazon and pure-play Sales Teams.
• Report on forecast accuracy, in-stock issues, chargeback violations, and order accuracy while suggesting corrective measures.
• Partner with Marketing and Sales to estimate projected new-item volumes and prioritize those items accordingly.
• Monitor new launches from inbound purchase orders through site activation, track sales performance, and suggest forecast adjustments.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, emphasizing data analytics, marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• 5-7 years of proven experience in sales and marketing analytics within CPG or on the agency side related to e-Retail/CPG.
• Experience with Amazon is highly desirable.
• Over 3 years of experience providing strategic thought leadership in e-commerce and translating data concepts for business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams such as marketing and sales.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with substantial experience.
• Familiarity with syndicated point-of-sale and internal account-specific consumption data.
