This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Conduct primarily one-on-one consultations with members, which will account for about 80–85% of your working hours.
• Provide customized, evidence-based nutrition consultations tailored to the unique needs, medical history, treatment, and goals of each member.
• Assist members with nutritional guidance during GLP-1 treatment, focusing on managing side effects, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration, and supporting muscle mass and overall health.
• Tackle complex dietary challenges and conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes (T2D), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and other relevant chronic health issues.
• Aid members in establishing realistic and sustainable eating habits that promote weight management and broader health outcomes.
• Create clear, practical, and personalized written guidance following consultations when appropriate.
• Recognize when further clinical input or escalation is necessary and collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) for follow-up.
• Engage in bi-weekly MDT discussions and contribute relevant clinical insights.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality clinical documentation.
• Assist in the creation and review of nutrition resources intended for members.
• Support occasional nutrition webinars, workshops, or community events.
• Contribute to the development of nutrition-related content and program initiatives.
• Simplify complex nutrition science into clear, practical, and accessible guidance.
• Registered Dietitian with current CORU registration.
• Strong clinical background, preferably with experience in weight management, obesity, chronic condition management, or a similar field.
• Proven experience in providing individualized nutritional care and working directly with patients.
• Solid understanding of nutrition related to weight management and chronic disease.
• Ability to convey complex nutrition science in a clear, practical, and achievable manner.
• Excellent communication skills paired with an empathetic, patient-centered approach.
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to identify when further assessment or escalation is necessary.
• Comfortable delivering healthcare remotely and utilizing digital health platforms.
• Highly organized with the capability to manage a clinical caseload independently.
• Experience in working within a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with supporting patients on GLP-1 medications and understanding their nutritional implications.
• Background in obesity medicine or specialized weight management.
• Experience with conditions such as T2D, IBS, or other metabolic health issues.
• Experience in delivering webinars, workshops, or online education.
• Interest in digital health and innovative healthcare delivery models.
• Contractor role, initially offered on a contractor basis.
• Possibility of transitioning into a permanent position over time, based on mutual fit, performance, and evolving business needs.
• Remote work from Ireland, with optional office days available in Dublin.
• Flexible part-time schedule starting at 8 hours per week (2 × 4-hour sessions), with potential for increased hours over time.
