Diagnostics Technical Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Provide support to veterinary clinics, laboratory research facilities, and veterinary educational institutions on-site.

• Assist in the implementation, training, operations, applications, and troubleshooting of veterinary diagnostic products.

• Enhance the utilization and adoption of diagnostic products while reducing implementation time.

• Identify, qualify, monitor, and assess clinic challenges.

• Develop and execute clinic workflow processes that enhance customer satisfaction.

• Offer technical support, troubleshooting, and solutions for complex system issues.

• Present formal and informal product guidance, instruction, and training sessions.

• Carry out post-sale product installation, validation, applications, and operational training.

• Maintain a record of daily activities and compile detailed customer visit reports.

• Collaborate with the Area Business Manager and the Diagnostic Solutions Consultant.

• Engage in discussions with DVMs and practice managers to promote product-line adoption.

• Identify and communicate opportunities for additional analyzers and referrals from current clients.

• Travel frequently to various locations within Northwest Ohio and participate in scheduled out-of-state meetings and training sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical environment.

• Basic proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe.

• Familiarity with diagnostic products, instrumentation, and clinical processes.

• Strong analytical skills and proven critical thinking abilities.

• Willingness and availability to travel up to 90% of the work week within the designated territory.

• Flexibility to meet customer visit requests.

• Capability to safely lift and transport up to 60 lbs.

• Associate’s degree required; equivalent experience will be considered.

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and current auto insurance.

• Proven knowledge in veterinary terminology and science.

• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.

• Ability to multitask and work independently.
