
Diagnostic Technical Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
β’ Provide on-site support to veterinary clinics, laboratory research, and veterinary academic environments.
β’ Assist with the implementation, training, operation, applications, and troubleshooting of veterinary diagnostic products.
β’ Enhance the utilization of diagnostic products, boost adoption rates, and reduce implementation time.
β’ Identify, quantify, qualify, track, and assess pain points within clinics.
β’ Facilitate, develop, design, and execute clinic workflow processes.
β’ Offer on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of intricate system issues.
β’ Deliver both formal and informal product guidance, instructional sessions, and training presentations.
β’ Complete post-sale product installations and validations, along with applications and operational training.
β’ Document daily activities and prepare comprehensive customer visit reports, including satisfaction metrics.
β’ Collaborate with the Area Business Manager and Diagnostic Solutions Consultant to ensure excellent customer service.
β’ Identify and report potential opportunities for additional analyzers and new customer leads through referrals.
β’ Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical environment.
β’ Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe.
β’ Familiarity with diagnostic products, instrumentation, and clinic operations.
β’ Analytical mindset with proven critical thinking abilities.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 75% of the work week.
β’ Flexibility to meet customer visit requests.
β’ Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
β’ Degree from a Veterinary Technology Program is preferred.
β’ Credentialed Veterinary Technician status is preferred.
β’ Proficiency in veterinary terminology and science.
β’ Strong presentation skills.
β’ Ability to transport, set up, and demonstrate equipment efficiently and effectively.
β’ Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
β’ Capability to multitask and work autonomously.
β’ Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 lbs.
β’ Valid driver's license, clean driving history, and auto insurance required.
β’ Must adhere to standard business hours from Monday to Friday.
β’ All applicants must have or be able to obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis; sponsorship is discretionary and must be disclosed if needed.
