This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Serve as a consultant for stakeholders in veterinary practices, creating tailored in-house diagnostic solutions utilizing the Vetscan product line.
• Market and sell Vetscan instruments to veterinary clinics, research institutions, and government agencies within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with territory managers, diagnostic account managers, and strategic account managers to generate leads and secure new business opportunities.
• Provide a smooth and professional experience throughout the pre-sales and sales processes.
• Employ strategic thinking and market trend analysis to enhance diagnostic equipment sales within high-revenue accounts.
• Acquire and maintain customer relationships, expand the placement of Vetscan analyzers, and promote consumable usage.
• Manage the opportunity pipeline from initial prospecting to becoming a customer.
• Engage in prospecting and develop solution-oriented proposals.
• Supervise the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
• Negotiate and modify agreements to align with customer needs.
• Cultivate long-lasting partnerships with key clients.
• Renew and amend existing customer contracts.
• Conduct regular business reviews.
• Collaborate across disciplines with diagnostics, companion animal, livestock, technical support, and veterinary services teams.
• Process new contracts to ensure swift and accurate customer onboarding while adhering to commercial conduct and compliance standards.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; a background in scientific or business disciplines is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
• A sales background is essential.
• Required experience in B2B sales within corporate settings, including diagnostics, marketing, medical devices, capital equipment sales, or contract sales.
• Preferred experience in veterinary medicine, nursing, laboratory work, or the medical field.
• A self-starter with a strategic, growth-oriented outlook and a commitment to excellence.
• Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation capabilities.
• Solid business acumen and skills in financial analysis, including effective expense and budget management.
• Good medical knowledge.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines to meet goals.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
• Proficiency in English is crucial, including the ability to produce professional documents and high-quality presentations.
