This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, and enforce security solutions that align with the established security policy.
• Oversee modifications in hardware, software, or network configurations.
• Apply best practices for securing the infrastructure.
• Automate cybersecurity tasks and address system bugs as necessary.
• Deploy highly technical solutions utilizing various advanced technologies.
• Provide support for all-domain large-scale weapon systems, Information Technology Systems, and Command and Control Systems for the Department of Defense JADC2.
• Work closely with Program Managers, domain engineers, and Government counterparts across both Government and Industry partners.
• A degree in Engineering, along with 8–12 years of practical experience in software Linux and/or Windows system administration; additional years of experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must hold an active and current Secret clearance.
• Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining pipelines within Gitea, GitLab, or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Flux, Terraform, Nexus Repository Manager, Artifactory, and release pipelines for the CI/CD of production-quality software.
• Practical experience in automation development using Python, Linux shells, Windows PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, or similar languages.
• Experience in addressing cyber-related findings on Linux host baselines and Windows environments, including Active Directory implementation and Group Policy definitions.
• Knowledge of network systems administration and STIG implementation.
• Understanding of container technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Experience with performance monitoring, logging, and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ALG Stack.
• Familiarity with a range of DoD STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides).
• Experience with cybersecurity tools including EvaluateSTIG, StigViewer, Security Center, and Nessus (ACAS).
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Active and current TS/SCI clearance.
