Senior HCM Cloud Platform – DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain CI/CD pipelines for the promotion of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM configurations across DEV, TEST, STAGE, and PROD environments.

• Manage OCI resources within FedRAMP Moderate+ environments, encompassing compute, networking, storage, and IAM.

• Set up configuration baselines in accordance with NIST SP 800-128 standards.

• Coordinate quarterly Oracle SaaS updates, including regression testing, impact assessment, and rollback procedures.

• Implement capabilities for disaster recovery and business continuity, involving failover, backup/restore, and DR testing.

• Oversee performance, capacity, and availability while configuring automated remediation workflows.

• Utilize Terraform infrastructure-as-code methodologies for provisioning and environmental replication.

• Enforce FIPS 140-3 encryption standards and manage key management along with the certificate lifecycle.

• Oversee environment refresh cycles, data masking, and sandbox provisioning.

• Create operational runbooks, architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and ATO documentation.

• Engage in SAFe Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, infrastructure automation, and technical debt resolution.

• Establish platform standards, best practices, and design direction across various workstreams and Agile Release Trains.

• Guide and mentor engineering and functional team members while representing technical strategy to program leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Must be able to obtain and uphold a Public Trust clearance.

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of pertinent experience; additional experience can substitute for the degree.

• Over 10 years of expertise in cloud platform engineering, DevOps engineering, or enterprise systems administration.

• At least 8 years of practical experience with OCI, AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or similar FedRAMP-authorized cloud platforms.

• Strong command of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.

• Experience in automating build, test, and deployment workflows.

• Practical experience with Terraform or equivalent IaC tools.

• Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting.

• Familiarity with FIPS 140-3, NIST 800-53, and FedRAMP control baselines.

• Experience with configuration baselining, change control, and release management across multi-environment enterprise deployments.
