HCM Cloud Platform – DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM across DEV, TEST, STAGE, and PROD environments.

• Oversee OCI resources, which include compute, networking, storage, and IAM, within FedRAMP Moderate+ environments.

• Set up and uphold NIST SP 800-128-compliant configuration baselines.

• Coordinate quarterly updates for Oracle SaaS and assist with regression testing and rollback procedures.

• Implement capabilities for disaster recovery and business continuity, including automated failover, backup/restore workflows, and DR testing.

• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity; configure alerts and automate remediation processes.

• Utilize Terraform infrastructure-as-code practices for provisioning, configuration management, and environment replication.

• Enforce FIPS 140-3 encryption standards and manage key and certificate lifecycle processes.

• Administer environment refreshes, data masking, and sandbox provisioning.

• Create operational runbooks, architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and ATO documentation.

• Engage in SAFe Agile ceremonies and address technical debt.

• Resolve complex technical issues, mentor junior engineers, and act as a technical subject matter expert.

• Lead small technical projects, conduct technical reviews, and guide junior consultants on best practices for Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

• A Bachelor’s degree along with 7+ years of relevant experience; additional experience may replace the degree requirement.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or enterprise systems administration.

• At least 5 years of experience with OCI, AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or other FedRAMP-authorized cloud platforms.

• Strong expertise with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

• Practical experience in automating build/test/deploy pipelines.

• Familiarity with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

• Proficient in Python and/or Bash.

• Understanding of FIPS 140-3, NIST 800-53, and FedRAMP Moderate+ compliance frameworks.

• Experience with configuration baselining, change control, and release management in multi-environment deployments.
