DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop, sustain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure dependable and efficient software deployments.

• Deploy, oversee, and scale workloads on Kubernetes.

• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning utilizing Terraform and/or OpenTofu.

• Adhere to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices for creating repeatable and scalable environments.

• Establish and maintain monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and observability workflows.

• Utilize tools such as Grafana and other monitoring/observability platforms.

• Track infrastructure and application performance, availability, and reliability.

• Diagnose production issues across infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, and application environments.

• Enhance system reliability, scalability, security, and deployment efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with developers to elevate the developer experience and deployment workflows.

• Identify repetitive operational tasks and automate them wherever feasible.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure.

• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.

• Solid understanding of AWS and its core infrastructure services.

• Practical experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficiency in Terraform and/or OpenTofu.

• Strong grasp of Infrastructure as Code concepts and practices.

• Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting.

• Hands-on experience with Grafana.

• Good understanding of Linux, networking, DNS, load balancing, and cloud infrastructure fundamentals.

• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve production and infrastructure issues.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment.

• Experience in operating large-scale or distributed systems.

• Familiarity with GitOps and Kubernetes deployment tools.

• Experience with Helm.

• Knowledge of Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, logs, metrics, and traces.

• Scripting/automation experience using Python, Bash, or similar tools.

• Experience in supporting highly available production environments.

• Previous experience in observability, developer infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud-native products.
