DevSecOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/EKS.

• Lead the onboarding and migration of applications to standardized cloud patterns and platform services.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines along with automated deployment processes utilizing GitHub.

• Implement and oversee Infrastructure as Code, particularly using Terraform.

• Facilitate the transition from traditional credential-based authentication to AWS IAM/IRSA and secure identity management practices.

• Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.

• Advocate for observability and SRE practices, encompassing monitoring, logging, and performance enhancements.

• Promote automation throughout the infrastructure and application lifecycle management.

• Maintain a documentation-first approach for platform processes, configurations, and standards.

• Contribute to the ownership and governance of the service catalog.

• Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Security, and Product teams.

• Identify areas for enhancing platform efficiency, resilience, security, and developer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience as a DevSecOps / DevOps Engineer.

• Strong practical experience with AWS / Amazon Web Services.

• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, preferably including EKS.

• Significant experience with GitHub and GitHub-based development and CI/CD workflows.

• Practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

• Solid experience with Docker and containerized environments.

• Strong knowledge of Linux environments.

• Experience with cloud automation and infrastructure automation.

• Familiarity with authentication and IAM, particularly in AWS environments.

• Strong understanding of Amazon CloudWatch and cloud monitoring.

• Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.

• Strong security mindset and an interest in building reliable, scalable, and well-governed cloud platforms.

• Experience with Python scripting or automation is a plus.

• Experience with Java applications or ecosystems is a plus.

• Experience with Dynatrace or other observability platforms is a plus.

• Experience with AWS IAM Roles for Service Accounts (IRSA) is a plus.

• Knowledge of SRE principles and practices is a plus.

• Previous experience in large-scale enterprise or financial services environments is a plus.
