This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.
• Develop, implement, and sustain the new cloud-based FSA IAM system.
• Provide secure, dependable, and high-performance IAM functionalities utilizing cloud-native architecture and Agile methodologies.
• Ensure that the IAM solution leverages IDaaS, PaaS, and SaaS architecture in a robust Active-Active setup.
• Assist in merging AIMS and PAS into a unified modern solution while preserving the segregation of user data.
• Execute code modifications, conduct unit testing and code reviews, integrate updates into the product build process, and perform both automated and manual testing.
• Release updates into elevated environments, including production.
• Strategize and implement ongoing upgrades for infrastructure, COTS/GOTS products, support software, and frameworks to maintain at least N-1 versions.
• Perform architecture sizing and optimization, produce design specifications, monitor anomalies, and manage changes and releases, patching, certificate renewals, problem management, and application/environment configuration support.
• Contribute to security protocols, data planning, federal records/CUI management, Section 508 accessibility, technology business management reporting, and project/risk/schedule management.
• Required clearance: Public Trust.
• Required education: Bachelor’s degree.
• Required experience: 8 years.
• Strong background in DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Expertise in cloud-native technologies and resilient architectures.
• Comprehensive understanding of automated testing, code review procedures, and deployment strategies.
• Knowledge of evergreening, patching, and technology refreshing in federal settings.
• Capability to conduct system tuning, monitoring, and anomaly detection.
• Familiarity with federal compliance standards (FedRAMP, FISMA, RMF, Section 508).
• Exceptional collaboration and communication abilities across development, security, and operations teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex environment and deployment challenges.
• Proficiency with contemporary DevSecOps tools and scripting.
• Ability to work efficiently in an Agile environment with frequent releases.
