DevSecOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage server operations

• Maintain and enhance internal monitoring systems

• Further develop and sustain the IT infrastructure

• Handle infrastructure as code utilizing tools like Terraform and Ansible

• Integrate and advance security checks within CI/CD pipelines

• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing

• Administer secrets and manage secure credential handling

• Ensure adherence to security standards and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001 and GDPR

• Execute threat modeling and evaluate security risks at preliminary stages

• Document processes and infrastructure thoroughly

• Keep abreast of current trends and implement new tools and best practices

• Provide guidance to colleagues on security-related issues

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training or a degree in IT (e.g., computer science or business informatics) or equivalent practical experience

• Strong expertise in Linux server management

• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their secure operation

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)

• Experience with cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)

• Solid understanding of networks, firewalls, and fundamental security principles
