DevOps/SRE – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define, enhance, and uphold infrastructure-as-code utilizing Terraform and Terragrunt for scalable, reproducible environments for production, QA, and development.

• Construct and deploy automated CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions.

• Manage zero-downtime blue/green deployments on AWS ECS Fargate.

• Design, configure, and execute a cross-region disaster recovery strategy.

• Integrate advanced monitoring solutions with CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray.

• Model component architecture and evaluate costs and licensing.

• Ensure service continuity and financial viability with a 5-year outlook.

• Collaborate on strategies with development, architecture, and cybersecurity teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience in senior DevOps, SysOps, or Cloud Architecture positions.

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (mandatory).

• Expertise in AWS (ECS Fargate, Amazon Aurora, CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray), AWS CLI, and Docker.

• Strong practical experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, and constructing pipelines in GitHub Actions.

• Proficient in designing and implementing cross-region architectures, disaster recovery plans (DRP), and blue/green deployments.

• Knowledge of infrastructure and communication requirements within financial/banking sectors.

• Capability to make intricate technical decisions and lead infrastructure enhancements with minimal oversight.

• Operational composure and analytical judgment to address critical incidents and maintain platform continuity.

• Competence in coordinating strategies with development, architecture, and cybersecurity teams.

• Spanish proficiency at B2 level.
