DevOps/SRE – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Define, evolve, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt to ensure scalable and reproducible environments in Prod, QA, and Dev.

• Build and implement automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Orchestrate seamless deployments (blue/green) on AWS ECS Fargate.

• Design, configure, and implement a cross-region disaster recovery plan (DRP).

• Integrate advanced observability frameworks with CloudWatch and X-Ray.

• Model component architecture and estimate costs/licensing.

• Ensure service continuity and financial sustainability with a 5-year projection.

• Coordinate strategies with development, architecture, and cybersecurity teams.

• Drive infrastructure improvements and mitigate critical events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of proven experience in Senior roles in DevOps, SysOps, or Cloud Architecture.

• Professional degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields (mandatory).

• Proficiency in AWS (ECS Fargate, Aurora, CloudWatch, X-Ray), AWS CLI, and Docker.

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, and creating pipelines in GitHub Actions.

• Experience in designing and implementing cross-region architectures, DRP, and blue/green deployments.

• Understanding of infrastructure and communication requirements in financial/banking environments.

• Ability to make complex technical decisions and drive infrastructure improvements independently.

• Operational calmness and analytical judgment to mitigate critical events and ensure operational continuity of the platform.

• Skill in coordinating strategies with development, architecture, and cybersecurity teams.

• Expert in AWS (ECS Fargate, Aurora, CloudWatch, X-Ray), AWS CLI, and Docker.

• Expert in Terraform, Terragrunt, and creating pipelines in GitHub Actions.

• Proficient in Spanish - B2 level.
