DevOps Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and enhance the observability strategy utilizing Datadog and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch + Kibana)

• Organize and correlate metrics, logs, and traces for effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis

• Define and refine SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets, dashboards, and intelligent alerts

• Minimize noise and expedite incident resolution

• Offer technical support during critical incidents, leading root cause analyses and suggesting preventive measures

• Assist development teams in embracing SRE, DevOps, observability, and reliability practices

• Automate operational tasks and processes using Python

• Contribute to the ongoing advancement of the platform, fostering stability, scalability, and operational efficiency

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or related areas

• Proficient experience with Datadog

• Familiarity with log analysis using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch and Kibana)

• Experience in correlating metrics, logs, and traces to pinpoint root causes

• Experience in mission-critical, highly available, and high-volume transactional settings

• Understanding of application observability and monitoring techniques

• Experience with cloud computing, preferably AWS

• Knowledge of Kubernetes

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

• Automation skills with Python

• Familiarity with Java applications in runtime environments and troubleshooting

• Experience in defining SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets, along with working within an SRE culture

• Experience in multi-cloud environments

• Advanced skills in operations automation

• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence applied to observability and operations (AIOps)
