This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and develop a multi-environment AKS platform, incorporating infrastructure as code, high availability, and application migration to containerized setups.

• Create and manage versioned Terraform modules for the deployment of parameterized environments.

• Set up and configure AKS clusters, which includes managing node pools, availability zones, upgrade policies, RBAC, and network policies.

• Implement and maintain the control plane in a highly available setup utilizing Argo CD, HashiCorp Vault, and Atlantis.

• Configure traffic ingress with Gateway API, workload identity, and secret management.

• Connect clusters to the corporate network by establishing routes, firewall rules, private endpoints, and private DNS zones.

• Offer technical guidance during application cutover periods, which includes traffic splitting and rollback strategies.

• Generate documentation demonstrating environment parity, operational runbooks, and documentation produced from code.

• Facilitate knowledge transfer to client and operations teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in operating Kubernetes in production settings, ideally with Azure Kubernetes Service.

• Proficient in Terraform, including module creation, variables, outputs, version control, and remote state management.

• In-depth Azure knowledge, covering virtual networking, routes, Private Endpoint, Private DNS, Microsoft Entra ID, Key Vault, and Container Registry.

• Experience with GitOps utilizing Argo CD or Flux, focusing on repository structure, projects, and synchronization policies.

• Familiarity with Helm and Kustomize.

• Experience in CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps, featuring federated authentication.

• Knowledge of Docker and best practices for image building and verification.

• Ability to articulate, document, and justify architectural decisions in written form.

• Proficient in English for comprehending technical documentation.

• Preferred: hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault; Gateway API or Application Gateway for Containers; KEDA and event-driven autoscaling; observability tools like Datadog; experience migrating serverless applications to containers; CKA, CKS, AZ-104, or AZ-305 certifications.
