DevOps Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps that compile, test, and release products.

• Oversee and implement deployments using Octopus Deploy across development, testing, staging, and production environments.

• Deploy and configure Azure platform components while ensuring environments remain consistent and well-documented.

• Write and adjust C# code to optimize application performance and deployment efficiency.

• Identify and resolve performance challenges across the application, database, and infrastructure.

• Enhance logging, metrics, alerting, and overall system observability.

• Troubleshoot production issues related to code, pipelines, and infrastructure.

• Conduct code reviews and address complex issues effectively.

• Collaborate with engineering and product managers to comprehend roadmap priorities and organize release tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.

• 3-6 years of relevant work experience.

• Practical experience with Azure DevOps, including the creation of build and release pipelines and daily operations in Git.

• Familiarity with deploying and configuring Azure components via the Azure Portal.

• Experience managing application deployments using a release management tool like Octopus Deploy.

• Proficiency in C# development and working with SQL Server.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and Git.

• Experience with Octopus Deploy.

• Proficiency with SQL Server.

• Experience in C# and .NET.

• Understanding of Kubernetes.

• Experience with REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Postman.

• Proficiency in PowerShell or similar scripting for build and deployment automation.

• Ability to work collaboratively and iteratively.

• Strong problem-solving skills using a logical, analytical, and creative approach.
