DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Ensure the stable, secure, and efficient operation of the platform in collaboration with Development, IT, and external operations partners.

• Enhance build, test, and deployment processes.

• Automate repetitive workflows.

• Optimize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Manage and support containerized applications utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.

• Implement and further enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.

• Analyze technical incidents and troubleshoot distributed applications effectively.

• Create sustainable solutions to boost availability, performance, and resilience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud computing environments.

• Strong proficiency in Linux, along with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar container platforms.

• Deep understanding of modern system architectures.

• Capability to design and operate scalable, high-availability (HA) infrastructures.

• Proficient in Git and constructing CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform and Ansible.

• Solid understanding of APIs, routing, and distributed systems.

• Practical experience with monitoring, logging, and structured troubleshooting.

• Analytical, proactive, and solution-focused approach to work.

• Strong communication skills in both German and English.

• Knowledge of Jenkins or Nexus, as well as RabbitMQ, identity management, or IT security, is considered an advantage.
