This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Establishing, configuring, and operating Elastic Search platforms in complex on-premises environments.
• Administration, maintenance, and continuous optimization of the Elastic Stack regarding availability, performance, and scalability.
• Integration of Elastic connectors, data sources, and interfaces with third-party systems.
• Automation of infrastructure, configuration, and operational processes using Ansible, Terraform, and other tools.
• Designing, implementing, and operating CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment processes.
• Administration and operation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, including system maintenance, patch management, and performance optimization.
• Configuration and management of TLS/SSL and certificates, as well as system hardening.
• Monitoring the platform using monitoring and logging solutions, along with analyzing and resolving operational disruptions and performance issues.
• Conducting release, change, and deployment activities, as well as supporting maintenance windows and system migrations.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, operational and architectural concepts, as well as standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborating with development, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Ensuring operational, security, and compliance requirements while optimizing the platform for stability, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Solid experience in establishing, administering, and operating Elastic Search platforms in on-premises environments.
• Extensive knowledge in integrating Elastic connectors, data sources, and third-party system interfaces.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or comparable infrastructure-as-code and automation tools.
• Profound understanding of the Elastic Stack: Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats, and Elastic Agent.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and operating CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in monitoring with Prometheus or Grafana.
• Familiarity with high availability and backup concepts for Elastic environments.
• Strong knowledge in the administration and operation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) in enterprise environments.
• Solid experience with TLS/SSL, certificate management, and system hardening.
• Expertise in high availability, performance, scalability, and monitoring of complex search and analysis platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in error analysis, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of platform and operational processes.
