DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, architecture, and management of CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions or comparable tools.

• Establish test-driven deployment systems that incorporate automated testing, validation, and monitoring.

• Containerize applications and microservices using Docker while optimizing image builds.

• Oversee the build, packaging, versioning, semantic tagging, and publication workflows for JavaScript, TypeScript, and C++ packages.

• Create and sustain cross-platform build pipelines with CMake or similar tools for web, desktop, and mobile applications.

• Automate release workflows including tagging, building, signing, and distribution of applications.

• Define and manage Infrastructure as Code to establish reliable, scalable, and secure environments.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to resolve deployment challenges and enhance release reliability.

• Enhance observability and feedback mechanisms using monitoring and alerting systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in architecting and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools at scale in a production setting.

• Strong expertise in test-driven deployment methodologies, including automated test suites for integration and end-to-end validation.

• Proficient in Docker, encompassing image creation, registry management, and fundamental orchestration patterns.

• Experienced in managing the lifecycle of JavaScript and TypeScript packages, including versioning, compilation, semantic tagging, and NPM publication.

• Extensive knowledge of C++ build systems, particularly CMake.

• Advanced skills in Linux system administration and networking, including shell scripting, package management, performance troubleshooting, firewalls, and VPN configuration.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK, or AWS CloudFormation.

• Experience in mobile CI/CD automation for iOS and Android applications.

• Advanced understanding of release management, including automated versioning, signing, and artifact distribution.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.

• Preferred: Experience in high-availability, security-sensitive environments, particularly in fintech, blockchain, or distributed systems.

• Preferred: Experience in deploying and managing blockchain-based applications.

• Preferred: Exposure to AI/ML pipelines using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
