DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design and implement efficient CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery lifecycle across multiple environments.

• Build, provision, and manage modular infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.

• Configure and manage serverless and container-oriented cloud services within the GCP ecosystem.

• Implement monitoring, traceability, and observability strategies to ensure high availability of services.

• Manage security policies, identity management (IAM), and secret handling on the cloud platform.

• Collaborate closely with development teams to resolve bottlenecks and integrate best DevOps practices.

• Support interaction and performance with relational databases within the automation workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Academic degree or graduate in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computing, or related fields.

• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in developing automation pipelines for deployments.

• Advanced proficiency in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Proficient in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or Cloud Deploy.

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

• Experience with Docker containers and orchestration using Kubernetes/GKE.

• Intermediate knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).

• Intermediate level of English.

• Nice to Have: Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and serverless deployment services.

• Nice to Have: Knowledge in managing pipelines with Azure Pipelines.

• Nice to Have: Experience with API Gateway or Apigee in microservices architecture.
