DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Engage in infrastructure and environmental architecture planning.

• Design, develop, and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.

• Construct and uphold scalable environments based on Kubernetes.

• Improve infrastructure performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.

• Diagnose production infrastructure, networking, and application delivery challenges.

• Support and manage existing environments.

• Enforce infrastructure security best practices, manage secrets, and control access.

• Collaborate closely with development teams on matters related to infrastructure.

• Partake in incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident enhancements.

• Propel continuous improvement initiatives and suggest new technologies and methodologies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer.

• Strong hands-on proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

• Good understanding of YAML pipelines, reusable templates, approval gates, and Azure Repos governance.

• Experience managing Linux and Windows build agents, as well as Azure Artifacts feeds.

• Practical experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.

• Strong scripting capabilities in Bash and Python or PowerShell.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, OpenSearch, or Elasticsearch.

• Solid understanding of infrastructure and application security principles.

• Experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar solutions for secrets management.

• Knowledge of managing TLS certificates and secure infrastructure configurations.

• Understanding of least privilege, network segmentation, and isolated environments.

• Experience troubleshooting production systems and engaging in incident response.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English.

• Proactive mindset with a focus on ownership.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

• Attention to detail and dedication to infrastructure reliability.

• Eagerness to learn and explore new technologies.
