This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Assess customer needs regarding software components, system availability, security, and performance.
• Create and document comprehensive cloud hosting architectures, encompassing capacity planning, instance selection, allocation, and network design.
• Provide cost estimates for proposed system designs.
• Develop systems through the installation, configuration, and testing of cloud resources.
• Implement automation and configuration management to guarantee repeatability and traceability of modifications.
• Diagnose issues related to hardware, software, networks, and operating systems.
• Safeguard system integrity and security using controls and monitoring tools.
• Ensure optimal system performance through monitoring, analysis, performance tuning, and growth planning.
• Conduct load and stress tests, document results, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and escalate application problems as necessary.
• Maintain documentation for internal systems and customer deployments.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical consultants, software architects, and developers to validate infrastructure deliverables and document technical transitions.
• Address support tickets and incidents in accordance with SLA commitments.
• Contribute to the establishment of best practices, operational policies, and procedures.
• Develop, document, and test disaster recovery plans while recommending enhancements.
• Enhance job knowledge through educational opportunities, professional publications, personal networks, and participation in professional organizations.
• Contractors must be located in Brazil.

• Possess advanced to fluent English communication skills.
• Have a minimum of 4 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows systems administration; at least one is mandatory.
• Proficient in scripting; preference for Bash shell and Python, with PowerShell being acceptable.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with web accelerators, load balancers, reverse proxies, and CDNs.
• Possess problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused with strong communication abilities.
• Willingness to engage in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Interest in Generative AI technologies.
• Visa sponsorship is not available due to legal restrictions.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation with approximately one compensated shift per month.
• Gain additional experience with other cloud providers as a bonus.
• AWS Certifications are nice to have or a willingness to obtain certification is encouraged.
