DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop robust and resilient infrastructure systems.

• Enhance infrastructure scalability to accommodate high traffic loads.

• Establish build and code delivery workflows.

• Automate and streamline routine operational tasks.

• Integrate new tools and technologies into existing systems.

• Support and manage database clusters effectively.

• Oversee and resolve issues in production Kubernetes clusters, including writing Helm charts.

• Engage in on-call responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in DevOps.

• Proficient in managing Linux servers and infrastructure utilizing IaC tools (such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar).

• Experience with GitLab CI: setting up CI/CD pipelines for the smooth delivery of Docker containers containing Python or Go code.

• Capable of configuring and maintaining database clusters, including PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Aerospike, and Consul.

• Familiar with monitoring and logging systems like Zabbix, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, ELK, and Sentry.

• Experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker and docker-compose.

• Skilled in managing and resolving issues within production Kubernetes clusters, including writing Helm charts.

• Knowledgeable in supporting and developing PostgreSQL clusters, with an understanding of high availability, backup processes, and replication principles.
