DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and oversee GCP-based infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

• Construct and uphold CI/CD pipelines that facilitate dependable deployments and automated testing.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code while automating the setup and configuration of environments.

• Set up and sustain frameworks for monitoring, logging, and alerting.

• Collaborate with Security and Engineering to uphold least privilege access, compliance, and Zero Trust principles.

• Diagnose and enhance system performance.

• Guarantee high availability and preparedness for disaster recovery.

• Contribute to the establishment of DevOps best practices.

• Provide mentorship to engineers on automation, cloud technologies, and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in Google Cloud Platform, encompassing Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Build, IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Run.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Pulumi.

• Strong background in scripting and automation.

• Profound understanding of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.

• In-depth knowledge of networking, cloud security, IAM, firewalls, service accounts, and high-availability architecture.

• Experience with CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or GitLab CI.

• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.

• Excellent command of English for daily interactions with senior stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel to Australia for 2–3 months.

• Experience in multi-cloud environments is a plus.

• Knowledge of Zero Trust networking and DevSecOps practices is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Temporal, Cadence, or Airflow is a plus.

• Exposure to regulated environments such as HIPAA or SOC 2 is beneficial.

• Understanding of edge security practices, service meshes, and mTLS is a plus.
