DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist customers in rapidly and continuously enhancing their environments.

• Automate build and deployment workflows, with a focus on GitOps utilizing ArgoCD/Flux and CI/CD methodologies.

• Design and optimize intricate, multi-layered environments that incorporate a variety of technology stacks.

• Utilize tools from the CNCF Landscape effectively.

• Manage servers, networks, and cloud resources using a declarative approach through Infrastructure as Code.

• Containerize applications and deploy them on Kubernetes or equivalent platforms.

• Develop and implement scaling and rollout strategies.

• Share your concepts within a tribe organization and further enhance your expertise.

• Collaborate with partners and internal teams within a Community of Practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed training as an IT specialist in application development and/or a degree in computer science, or an equivalent qualification.

• Proficient in German, both written and spoken (C1 level).

• English language proficiency is a plus.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in DevOps or a similar position.

• Familiarity with at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, StackIT).

• Strong understanding of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).

• Experience with automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenTofu) and configuration management (Ansible).

• Proven experience in designing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

• Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, or another).
