Devices Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Design, test, and maintain distributed systems and microservices.

• Create services utilizing Golang, along with Node.js or Java as necessary, and employ native C/C++/Java development based on the subsystem.

• Develop and integrate RESTful and gRPC APIs.

• Deploy scalable web applications in containerized settings using Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.

• Construct applications or scripts that interact closely with native operating system frameworks.

• Utilize automated CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and securely deploy code.

• Leverage AI throughout the SDLC and PDLC phases to expedite development, enhance user experience, and aid testing cycles.

• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to create modular, reusable Vue.js UI components for full-stack development.

• Apply knowledge of device enrollment concepts and device management protocols.

• Engage in on-call shifts and respond during designated periods.

• Work in conjunction with geographically diverse engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of professional production experience.

• Core proficiency in Golang.

• Understanding of object-oriented backend environments.

• Experience in developing, testing, and maintaining distributed systems and microservices.

• Proficient with Golang; familiarity with Node.js/Java depending on the subsystem; experience in native development with C/C++/Java.

• Experience with RESTful/gRPC APIs.

• Familiar with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Basic exposure to building applications or scripts that interact with native OS frameworks.

• Experience with automated CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions.

• Strong knowledge of Go, Java, Python, TypeScript, or other programming languages.

• Experience in a distributed systems environment.

• Solid technical foundation in software engineering design principles and patterns.

• Ability to work efficiently with geographically diverse engineering teams in a remote-first setting.

• Understanding of Apple MDM/DDM/ADE, Android Enterprise, or Windows MDM protocols is highly valued.

• Knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, or C++ is a significant differentiator.

• Preferred experience with AWS; exposure to GCP or Azure is a plus.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Good troubleshooting abilities and capacity to work with ambiguity while driving clarity.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment while adhering to processes and best practices.

• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

• Must reside in and be authorized to work in Türkiye.
