This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Offer administrative assistance to the Development Department while acquiring knowledge and executing essential fundraising processes and responsibilities.
β’ Generate and update Salesforce records to document donor engagements and opportunities, ensuring the accuracy of donor data.
β’ Take detailed meeting notes utilizing AI or other tools and oversee follow-up actions.
β’ Organize appointments and schedules through Google Calendar.
β’ Monitor and prepare stewardship reports for corporate and foundation donors.
β’ Support Development Team interactions with the Finance Department.
β’ Utilize Google Suite and Google Drive to create, modify, and save Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
β’ Employ Hive to manage tasks and work collaboratively with colleagues and teams.
β’ Design donor reports with Canva.
β’ Perform fundraising research, prospecting, grant writing, donor cultivation, and stewardship.
β’ Assist in planning special events, particularly in maintaining invitation lists.
β’ Compose emails, memos, flyers, letters of intent, proposals, and reports.
β’ Investigate private and public funding prospects.
β’ Keep the department meeting calendar and agenda updated.
β’ Provide updates during department meetings.
β’ Execute other tasks as assigned.
β’ 2-4 years of relevant sales or fundraising experience.
β’ Bachelor's degree in marketing, social work, English, communications, management, public relations, or equivalent experience.
β’ Experience in managing administrative responsibilities, including record management, note-taking, and scheduling.
β’ Proficiency in Google Suite, Canva, Salesforce, and Hive, or the ability to quickly learn and master these tools.
β’ Strong research capabilities.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Keen attention to detail.
β’ Ability to learn swiftly and adapt to various tasks and challenges in a fast-paced setting.
β’ Capacity to work and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and promote collaborative teamwork.
β’ Experience in a virtual work environment.
β’ Willingness to travel overnight multiple times a year for staff offsites, planning retreats, and company-wide events; participation is mandatory.
β’ May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
β’ Familiarity with the military community is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with membership-driven organizations is a plus.
