Development Lead – Agile Development Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily technical operations of an Agile product team.

• Facilitate the development, testing, and deployment of cloud-native features.

• Work closely with Product Managers and Product Owners to enhance user stories.

• Assess the level of effort and guarantee reliable sprint delivery.

• Ensure that development adheres to DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, secure coding standards, and contemporary cloud architecture patterns.

• Advocate for code quality through peer reviews, reusable patterns, shared components, and documentation that aligns with the Definition of Done.

• Manage cross-team integration initiatives.

• Ensure product coherence, a consistent user experience, and effective release management.

• Mentor developers and foster continuous learning.

• Recognize blockers, technical risks, and dependencies at an early stage.

• Deliver high-quality functionality with each sprint.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.

• Equivalent experience will be considered for candidates with substantial Agile leadership backgrounds.

• Over 10 years of experience in software development within an Agile setting.

• Proven experience in a DevSecOps environment.

• Demonstrated leadership experience within an Agile team.

• Proficient in Java, Node.js, Python, and front-end frameworks like React.

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

• Strong grasp of microservices, RESTful APIs, integrations, and cloud infrastructure patterns.

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks, unit testing, and test-driven development.

• Capability to pass a government security background check.

• Up to 10% travel may be necessary.
