Development Enablement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement a multi-tiered training program for developers that includes builder tiers and trigger-based modules focusing on AI/LLM applications, sensitive data management, privileged access, third-party integrations, and business ownership.

• Record the risk overlay framework along with guidance intended for practitioners.

• Develop the process for solution intake and classification.

• Establish a continuous compliance model for training completion, access controls, and attestation renewals.

• Document standards for development tools and maintain catalogs of permitted integrations.

• Offer technical support to developers across both IT and business sectors.

• Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to processes or tools; triage, resolve, or escalate issues as necessary.

• Conduct training sessions, update training materials, and monitor completion against access criteria.

• Implement and uphold the processes for solution intake, developer tools, approved packages, and attestation.

• Collaborate with Security, Architecture, Governance, and Data teams.

• Analyze support-request trends to enhance training materials, documentation, and tool defaults.

⛳️ Requirements

• Understanding of current software development practices: Git, CI/CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps), package management, secrets management, and basic deployment principles.

• Capability to articulate technical ideas effectively to audiences with diverse experience levels.

• Background in designing or delivering technical training, documentation, or enablement programs.

• Familiarity with AI development tools and platforms; experience with Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools is advantageous.

• 3–5 years of experience in technical training, instructional design, software development, or a related area.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Git, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development tools.

• Experience in creating and delivering technical training or enablement content.

• Ability to convert technical ideas into clear, actionable guidance.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in identifying and documenting issues, risks, and dependencies.
