This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Process charitable contributions and ensure prompt acknowledgments for donors.
• Maintain the organization’s donor management system (Bloomerang), ensuring accuracy in records, reporting, and data integrity.
• Prepare fundraising reports, mailing lists, and various operational materials.
• Oversee communications calendars, digital assets, and style guides.
• Manage the conference calendar in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Partnerships.
• Assist in proofreading, quality assurance, and content publishing tasks.
• Monitor communication metrics and generate reports to guide future strategies.
• Oversee project budgets, invoices, contracts, and administrative procedures.
• Maintain documentation, procedures, and operational systems that support fundraising and communications.
• Develop project plans and timelines for Advancement initiatives.
• Manage project schedules, task tracking, and coordination across departments.
• Act as the primary contact for external Advancement vendors.
• Coordinate the production, approvals, purchasing, and delivery of Advancement materials.
• Assist in content creation for 2–3 annual giving campaigns across digital and print platforms.
• Support the writing and production of the Perennial Report and other donor communications.
• Develop and sustain automated communication flows for donor journeys.
• Prepare materials for donor meetings and conduct prospect research.
• Assist with scheduling, logistics, and follow-up for donor engagement events.
• Provide administrative assistance for Advancement initiatives.
• Participate in staff and team planning sessions.
• Complete related administrative duties and other tasks assigned by the Senior Director of Advancement.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in nonprofit development, communications, marketing, project management, or a similar operational role.
• Proven ability to manage several complex projects at once while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with CRM or donor database systems and strong data management capabilities.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coordinating projects among multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
• Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and cloud-based collaboration tools.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across departments.
• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally (not exceeding 5% of the time).
• Preferred: Experience with Bloomerang or other nonprofit CRM systems.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting fundraising campaigns or donor stewardship efforts.
• Preferred: Experience in managing vendors, consultants, and production timelines.
• Preferred: Understanding of basic design principles and familiarity with design software (e.g., Canva).
• Preferred: Knowledge of email marketing platforms, website content management systems, and project management software.
• Preferred: Interest in agriculture, conservation, climate solutions, or environmental nonprofits.
