This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure the accuracy of donor records in Salesforce, capturing donor details, interactions, pledges, contributions, and subsequent actions.
• Examine donor data, rectify errors, and identify issues that need guidance or systemic solutions.
• Create donor lists, reports, and essential information for fundraising strategy and implementation.
• Process incoming donations and collaborate with the Finance team on coding, allocation, and reconciliation.
• Draft personalized acknowledgment letters for gifts and prepare tax receipts.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of gift decisions, restrictions, and follow-up actions.
• Conduct research on individuals, foundations, and corporations utilizing appropriate public resources.
• Develop briefings for donors and meetings, clearly differentiating verified information from assumptions.
• Keep updated prospect and portfolio data, including relationship history, status, and next steps.
• Coordinate Development tasks and share information across teams.
• Assist in donor engagement and stewardship initiatives, encompassing events, communications, and follow-up actions.
• Contribute to the annual report and participate in cross-functional projects that require Development data, research, or coordination.
• Enhance ongoing processes, tools, and documentation.
• Experience in operations, administration, research, data management, fundraising, project coordination, or a related field that involves organized information, processes, and collaborative work.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review work for accuracy, identify inconsistencies, and correct errors.
• Proficient in organizing tasks, managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and effectively communicating any changes in timelines or priorities.
• Capable of clear and respectful communication, tailoring detail for diverse audiences, and summarizing complex information effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate efforts with others.
• An equity-minded perspective with awareness of how identity, access, and power influence experiences and decisions.
• Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion, knowing when to seek guidance.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and systems for organizing information.
• Genuine interest in Echoing Green's mission.
• Familiarity with Excel, Salesforce, or other CRM/databases is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must be available for full-time work during Eastern Time (New York business hours).
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship.
