This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.
• Contribute to the development of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes within the team's codebases.
• Engage in the full lifecycle of features, from initial planning and development to release and customer support.
• Create testing strategies and write both unit and integration tests.
• Thoroughly document your work and effectively report any issues encountered.
• Plan solutions, reuse established development, security, and quality patterns, and submit well-documented merge requests.
• Participate in reviewing and providing feedback on RFCs/RFDs.
• Advocate for best practices during code reviews and offer constructive feedback to peers.
• Empower customer support teams to enhance their ability to assist with products.
• Tackle challenging issues that contribute to support inflows and aid in identifying high-priority customer feedback.
• Take part in refinement, prioritization, and group estimation activities.
• Identify and address improvements in repository cleanup, community engagement tools, and IDE integration ergonomics.
• Collaborate with teams across Product, Design, Security, Browser, Backend, and Infrastructure.
• Validate, review, and safely implement AI-assisted work within production systems.
• Proven experience as a developer with a strong foundation in Rust.
• Capable of independently managing complex system tasks from design through to delivery and production support.
• Comfortable working across various product surfaces, backend services, CI/CD processes, reliability, and operational workflows.
• Possess strong technical judgment and the ability to make pragmatic trade-offs concerning quality, speed, reliability, and maintainability.
• Quick to adapt to complex codebases and navigate ambiguous problem spaces.
• Collaborative approach with teams in Product, Design, Security, Browser, Backend, and Infrastructure.
• Proficient in utilizing AI tools for development, testing, debugging, documentation, and code exploration.
• Ability to validate, review, and safely implement AI-assisted contributions in production environments.
• Bonus: Significant experience in developing backend services using Go.
• Bonus: Practical experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
