This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Take ownership of the design for designated fragrance collections and brand systems across various SKUs, sizes, and substrates.
• Create unique visual territories that encompass color palettes, typography, finishes, patterns/illustrations, iconography, and layout guidelines.
• Craft designs for various styles including luxury, masstige, mass, clean/clinical, vintage apothecary, Y2K/Gen Z, gender-neutral, holiday/gifting, and collaborations.
• Transform trends and cultural influences into commercially viable, retailer-ready designs.
• Develop on-pack architecture that balances brand identity, product lines, variants, claims, regulatory requirements, aesthetics, and clarity.
• Produce design comps and mockups for on-pack items, secondary packaging, merchandising, e-commerce thumbnails/PDP, and simple point-of-sale materials.
• Create concise style guides and toolkits that detail logo usage, typography, color logic, finishes, and layout patterns.
• Implement finishes and materials such as foil, emboss/deboss, soft-touch, and textures while considering cost tiers.
• Conduct rapid explorations through mood boards, typography studies, color/finish options, and A/B tests on shelves and thumbnails.
• Present design rationale that connects to consumer needs, retailer expectations, and pricing tiers; iterate designs based on received feedback.
• Perform competitive analyses and trend mapping.
• Design in-store merchandising displays according to retailer and brand specifications.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Compliance, Packaging Engineering, and Creative teams to ensure designs are manufacturable.
• Document design intent and provide detailed build notes.
• Organize files with appropriate naming, links, and specification notes for production/prepress processes.
• Conduct quality assurance on hierarchy, legibility, color accuracy, and dieline fit; assist in proof reviews.
• Share best practices with peers and junior team members, contributing to libraries, templates, and checklists.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years in packaging and brand design (CPG/beauty/fragrance or related fields), preferably with experience in mass/private label.
• Exceptional visual craft skills: typography, composition, hierarchy, and color systems; portfolio demonstrates a wide range of aesthetics and a high level of refinement.
• Demonstrated ability to translate direction into distinctive, scalable on-pack systems.
• Strong presentation and storytelling abilities; capable of justifying design choices with consumer and commercial reasoning.
• Collaborative, organized, and dependable, especially when working under tight deadlines.
• Practical knowledge of print/production processes as they relate to design.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign (expert level).
• Solid understanding of Figma or Keynote/PowerPoint for guidelines and sell-in presentations.
• Familiarity with 3D tools (KeyShot, Blender, Cinema 4D, or Adobe Substance/Dimension) for creating realistic mockups is advantageous.
• Experience in directing or collaborating on photography/CG for product and hero imagery.
• Exposure to CAD/structural workflows (Esko, ArtiosCAD/Studio).
• Awareness of retailer compliance and sustainability considerations (materials, coatings, recyclability).
• Full-time contract through a payroll platform.
