This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Lead the overall UX/UI strategy for both web and native mobile platforms.
• Implement a cohesive design language across multiple channels.
• Establish and manage shared design-system tokens, components, and interaction patterns.
• Oversee comprehensive user journeys for Single Page Checkout, Product Detail Pages, Search/Type-ahead, and loyalty features.
• Serve as the primary design partner for client executives, product owners, and engineering leaders.
• Conduct alignment workshops and design reviews to ensure cohesive project direction.
• Connect business objectives with user-focused design choices.
• Validate design concepts through usability testing and data-driven UX logic.
• Lead sprint planning sessions for design deliverables across multiple parallel tracks.
• Ensure timely delivery of build-ready artifacts and annotated specifications.
• Collaborate within the client's Figma environment for transparent co-creation.
• Partner with client designers and internal team members to mentor, uphold quality standards, and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Incorporate advanced, mobile-first, and store-companion design patterns into the core user experience.
• Direct the end-to-end design strategy and manage unified design systems for a significant retail e-commerce transformation.
• Over 8 years of experience in digital product design.
• At least 3 years in a Lead or Principal Design position overseeing complex e-commerce or retail environments.
• Extensive hands-on experience in designing for large-scale omnichannel retail.
• Knowledge of e-commerce conversion optimization, focusing on Checkout, Product Detail Pages, Cart, and Search.
• Experience in creating mobile-first user journeys.
• Proven ability in developing, maintaining, and scaling enterprise-level design systems.
• Familiarity with design tokens and shared pattern libraries applicable to both Web and Mobile Native frameworks.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including skills in variables, auto-layout, advanced prototyping, component libraries, and developer handoff processes.
• Strong understanding of front-end capabilities and limitations across web storefronts, including Angular/Spartacus, as well as native mobile frameworks like Flutter.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capacity to clearly communicate complex design decisions to non-designers.
• Experience with AI-assisted UX patterns is preferred.
• Background in omnichannel store-companion or BOPIS user experiences is preferred.
