Design Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the comprehensive design process from wireframing and optimizing user flows to creating high-fidelity UI prototypes.

• Develop and sustain scalable UI libraries and design systems across various digital platforms.

• Transform intricate business requirements into user-friendly, innovative, and visually appealing interfaces.

• Ensure that digital products embody Billups' brand visual identity.

• Act as a liaison between strategy, creative, and engineering teams while upholding technical feasibility and design integrity.

• Spearhead design initiatives for complex web or mobile applications.

• Manage the visual direction of projects, including potential 3D visualizations, motion graphics, or high-fidelity renderings.

• Communicate design choices to stakeholders with an emphasis on brand equity and user retention.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6-7 years of experience in digital product design (UI/UX), with demonstrated experience leading design initiatives on intricate web or mobile applications.

• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including advanced features like prototyping, variables, and auto-layout.

• Strong understanding of cognitive frameworks, such as Miller’s Law.

• Familiarity with accessibility standards.

• Knowledge of front-end limitations, including HTML, CSS, and React.

• Capability to deliver clean, pixel-perfect assets to developers.

• Experience in overseeing 3D visualizations, motion graphics, or high-fidelity renderings.

• Extensive experience in building and scaling component libraries and design systems.

• An exceptional portfolio that highlights sophisticated typography, composition, color, and visual hierarchy.

• Portfolio examples showcasing complex design systems and scalable UI libraries.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.

• Familiarity with Framer or similar prototyping tools.

• Experience in agency settings or design-focused technology companies is preferred.
