This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Join a squad dedicated to quality, creative processes, and agile development.

• Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance on a legacy system developed in PHP for the backend and React for the frontend, ensuring stability, performance, and alignment with business needs.

• Identify bugs, investigate root causes, and implement effective solutions.

• Enhance existing functionalities and address new business demands.

• Ensure proper integration of PHP systems with external APIs, databases, and other systems.

• Keep the technical documentation up to date, detailing changes and developments made.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, such as QA, product, and other developers, to ensure aligned and quality deliveries.

• Apply best practices in versioning, design patterns, and code review, even in a legacy environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.

• Proven practical experience of at least three years in the development and maintenance of PHP applications, particularly in legacy systems.

• Strong knowledge of the Laravel Framework.

• Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with version control tools, such as Git, and continuous integration practices.

• Ability to work with legacy code, refactoring as necessary.

• Good communication skills and a collaborative spirit to work in a team.

• An analytical, resilient profile with a focus on problem-solving.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps is a plus.
