Desarrollador Java, Quarkus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop REST endpoints using RESTEasy Reactive and OpenAPI.

• Manage persistence with JPA or Reactive SQL and execute basic optimized queries.

• Create unit and integration tests utilizing Dev Services/Testcontainers.

• Configure observability through metrics, traces, and logs.

• Build and package JVM applications and, when applicable, native images using Mandrel/GraalVM.

• Integrate with CI/CD through standard pipelines, quality gates, and SBOM.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computing, or a related field.

• 3 years of experience as a Java Quarkus developer.

• Proficiency in Java, Quarkus, JPA, GCP, and Maven.

• Familiarity with REST, SOAP, OpenAPI, OAuth, and JWT.

• Knowledge of JDK 17/21 and Quarkus CLI.

• Experience with Testcontainers, Micrometer, Docker, Helm/Kustomize, GitLab, and OTLP.

• Understanding of CI/CD, OpenShift, GitLab Flow, and branch strategy.

• Knowledge of RSA and AES cryptography, CyberArk, SharePoint, and Docker.

• Experience in building JVM and native images with Mandrel/GraalVM.
