This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Support the technical evolution of a mobile application for a client in the insurance sector.

• Execute and develop solutions with scalable architecture and optimal performance.

• Lead the migration of the application's frontend, ensuring feature parity and a seamless user experience.

• Design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot for business logic and transactions.

• Ensure security by applying OWASP standards at every layer.

• Optimize queries and performance of SQL databases.

• Maintain high technical quality through TDD and DDD, reducing technical debt.

• Align technical deliverables with client objectives.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 months of experience in frontend projects using React.

• Ability to read and migrate legacy code.

• Solid experience in backend projects with Java and Spring Boot.

• Practical knowledge of TDD and DDD.

• Proficiency in OWASP security standards applied to development.

• Experience with SQL databases, including PostgreSQL or MySQL, for complex data modeling and optimized queries.

• Desirable: knowledge of Node.js.

• Desirable: experience with React Native.

• Desirable: experience with document databases.

• Desirable: prior experience in technical integration with payment methods.

• Ability to conduct constructive code reviews.

• Skill in resolving technical conflicts based on data.

• Effective communication to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders and ensure alignment with Agile methodologies.
