This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

• Design and define architectures such as Clean, MVVM, or MVI

• Modularize applications and manage feature modules

• Implement dependency injection using Hilt/Dagger and Koin

• Manage persistence and consume services through Room, Retrofit, and Ktor

• Conduct testing with JUnit and Robolectric

• Handle dependencies using Gradle Kotlin DSL

• Work with GitLab and mobile CI/CD processes

• Manage automation and publishing through Fastlane and Gradle Play Publisher

• Monitor the stability and health of releases using Firebase Crashlytics, ANR monitoring, and Release Health

• Utilize Firebase Test Lab and device farms

• Analyze and optimize performance using Android Profiler

• Implement mobile security practices and Play App Signing

• Manage feature flags, pagination, and structured logs

• Integrate native Android functionalities such as camera, sensors, notifications, widgets, and wearables

• Apply quality tools and linting like ktlint and detekt

• Work under Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies in GCP and On-Premise environments

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Systems, or a related field

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a native Android developer

• Experience in developing Android applications with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

• Proficiency in designing and defining architectures such as Clean, MVVM, or MVI

• Experience in modularization and management of feature modules

• Knowledge of Hilt/Dagger and Koin for dependency injection

• Experience with persistence and service consumption using Room, Retrofit, and Ktor

• Familiarity with JUnit and Robolectric for testing

• Knowledge of Gradle Kotlin DSL and dependency management

• Experience with GitLab and mobile CI/CD

• Proficient in using Fastlane and Gradle Play Publisher

• Experience with Firebase Crashlytics, ANR monitoring, Release Health, and internal distribution

• Familiarity with Firebase Test Lab and device farms

• Experience in performance profiling with Android Profiler, including jank analysis, recomposition, caching, and image handling

• Knowledge of mobile security, including Keystore, secure storage, certificate pinning, OAuth/OIDC, obfuscation/ProGuard, and secrets management

• Experience with Play App Signing and application distribution strategies

• Knowledge of feature flags, pagination, and structured logging

• Experience with integrating native Android features such as camera, sensors, notifications, widgets, and wearables

• Proficiency in using quality tools and linting such as ktlint and/or detekt

• Understanding of privacy-by-design principles

• Experience working under Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies

• Familiarity with GCP and On-Premise environments
