This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Supervise and manage a team of 6-10 representatives within the designated area.
• Oversee the hiring process, provide live and virtual coaching, facilitate representative development, manage performance, and allocate priority accounts.
• Propel sales performance across the business portfolio of products.
• Create and execute strategic plans, business plans, and budgets for the District.
• Organize, plan, and monitor performance to realize the potential of the District and RBU.
• Ensure effective utilization of promotional materials and contribute to the annual marketing plans.
• Analyze market data and recognize emerging trends.
• Identify and cultivate key account opportunities that impact regional and national business.
• Foster relationships with customers, KOLs, key stakeholders, channel partners, and cross-functional teams.
• Develop external advocates and engage in advocacy and community involvement.
• Ensure compliance in execution, grasp of policies, and promote a culture of integrity.
• Train representatives on cross-functional collaboration, digital tools, selling skills, product knowledge, and hybrid capabilities.
• Organize action plans and meetings with District Management Teams and partners.
• Collaborate with Marketing on pivotal strategies, business imperatives, and objectives during the Operational Planning process.
• Lead cross-functional partnerships to fulfill patient service requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of products, portfolios, disease states, and market dynamics.
• Utilize digital and virtual tools and leverage customer insight analytics.
• Demonstrate advanced virtual communication and systematic virtual engagement practices.
• Manage time effectively across face-to-face and virtual interactions in a hybrid setting.
• Maintain awareness of individual sales representative planning.
• Uphold District Standards and address compliance issues as necessary.
• Foster team culture, engagement, morale, feedback, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Establish team goals and hold members accountable for their performance, compliance, technology use, and virtual engagement objectives.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• A minimum of 3-5 years in a role demonstrating leadership among peers and customer groups.
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales is preferred.
• Experience engaging with key thought leaders or influential customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations is preferred.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to build internal and external relationships.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from consideration.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, mentor and coach others, and guide colleagues towards achieving meaningful results.
• An MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred.
• 5 or more years of experience in people management is preferred.
• Specialty experience and expertise are strongly preferred.
• Capability to develop and enhance team expertise on a broader portfolio content.
• Additional digital and L&C training for personal and team compliance.
• Leadership in change management, agility, and adaptability.
• Excellence in customer engagement and coaching team members in a hybrid environment.
