This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Report to the RBD and collaborate with customer-facing and headquarters teams throughout the organization.
• Supervise and lead a team of 6-10 representatives within the designated area.
• Take responsibility for the sales performance of the business portfolio of products.
• Evaluate area stakeholders and anticipate future trends in the business marketplace.
• Conduct regular in-field and virtual coaching sessions, as well as observations of Field Representatives.
• Maintain ongoing contact with customers and foster partnerships with marketing and channel colleagues.
• Ensure compliance in execution and promote a culture of integrity.
• Oversee district operations, including hiring, coaching, development of representatives, performance management, and assignment of priority accounts.
• Formulate district strategic plans, business plans, and budgets in alignment with RBD expectations.
• Plan, organize, and monitor performance at the district and RBU levels.
• Support the utilization of promotional materials and the development and assessment of marketing plans.
• Analyze data to identify market trends.
• Identify and cultivate key account opportunities that impact regional and national business.
• Build relationships with customers, KOLs, key stakeholders, channel partners, and cross-functional partners.
• Develop external advocates and engage in community advocacy.
• Coach representatives on cross-functional customer support and digital tools.
• Plan and execute action plans and meetings with district management, channel partners, and cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate within integrated account teams and with Marketing during the operating-plan process.
• Lead cross-functional partnerships to address patient-service needs.
• Maintain expertise in product, portfolio, disease-state, and market knowledge.
• Utilize digital and virtual tools and leverage customer-insight analytics.
• Employ advanced virtual communication and systematic virtual engagement practices.
• Manage time effectively between face-to-face and virtual interactions in a hybrid environment.
• Coach and counsel representatives regarding performance, selling skills, product knowledge, capabilities, and business plans.
• Ensure team compliance, uphold district standards, and escalate issues as necessary.
• Apply situational leadership and multimodal coaching techniques.
• Foster team culture, engagement, morale, feedback, and continuous improvement.
• Set team objectives and hold members accountable for adherence, technical knowledge, communication, compliance, technology use, and virtual engagement goals.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• A minimum of 3-5 years in a role demonstrating leadership among peers and customer groups.
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales is preferred.
• Experience engaging with key thought leaders or highly influential customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations is preferred.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to build internal and external relationships.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that complies with company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from employment.
• Candidates should exhibit a wide range of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities, including influencing and collaborating with peers, developing and coaching others, and guiding colleagues’ work.
• An MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of people management experience is preferred.
• Specialty experience and expertise are strongly preferred.
• Ability to develop and reinforce team expertise across a broader portfolio.
• Additional digital and L&C training for personal and team compliance is required.
• Proven excellence in engaging customers and coaching team members in a hybrid environment.
• Enhanced proficiency with virtual and digital tools/platforms.
• Advanced virtual communication skills are necessary.
• Capability in data-driven resource management.
• Multimodal coaching abilities are essential.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills are required.
• Ability to analyze and draw conclusions using sales data, call reporting software, and applications.
• Capacity to adapt to Pfizer's long-term technology model.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute flawlessly.
• Strong collaborative and motivational leadership skills, along with effective internal stakeholder management.
• Enterprise thinking and anticipation of consequences are crucial.
• Excellent facilitation skills are necessary.
