This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +2 more states.
• Oversee and guide a team of 6-10 representatives in the designated area.
• Handle recruitment, live and virtual coaching, representative development, performance management, and priority account assignments.
• Formulate and execute District strategic plans, business plans, and budgets.
• Organize, plan, and track performance to realize the business potential of the District and RBU.
• Ensure the effective utilization of promotional materials and contribute to annual marketing strategies.
• Evaluate field implementation and assess marketing initiatives.
• Proactively analyze data to recognize market trends.
• Discover, inspire, and cultivate key account opportunities impacting regional and national business.
• Foster relationships with customers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), management teams, channel partners, and cross-functional partners.
• Develop external advocates and support advocacy and community engagement efforts.
• Ensure compliant execution while upholding integrity and District Standards.
• Coach representatives on cross-functional customer support and digital tools.
• Organize and facilitate action-plan and partner meetings.
• Collaborate with integrated account teams and Marketing during the Operational Planning process.
• Lead cross-functional partnerships to fulfill patient-service requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of products, portfolios, disease states, and market dynamics.
• Utilize digital and virtual tools while leveraging customer-insight analytics.
• Conduct virtual engagements using structured agendas, follow-ups, and advanced communication skills.
• Manage time and engagement across both face-to-face and virtual channels in a hybrid setting.
• Guide and mentor representatives in sales techniques, product knowledge, capabilities, and business planning.
• Maintain visibility into the planning of individual representatives.
• Address compliance concerns and ensure team commitment to integrity.
• Apply situational leadership and various coaching methods.
• Cultivate team culture, engagement, and morale.
• Encourage feedback and ongoing improvement.
• Establish team objectives and hold members accountable for performance, compliance, communication, technology usage, and virtual engagement goals.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• A minimum of 3-5 years in a role demonstrating leadership among peer and customer groups.
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales is preferred.
• Experience engaging with key thought leaders or high-influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations is preferred.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to foster internal and external relationships.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and driving record in compliance with company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citations within the past 7 years will disqualify the candidate.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, as well as to develop and coach others, guiding colleagues to achieve results and business impact.
• MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred.
• 5 or more years of people management experience is preferred.
• Specialty experience and expertise are highly preferred.
• Capability to develop and reinforce team expertise on broader portfolio content.
